We are looking for a
medical professional with a degree in dentistry and
C1+ level of English interested in becoming an English for Dentistry course teacher. Our teachers are doctors with a wide range of interests, who speak English in their day-to-day life, read professional literature and articles, learn in English, and easily come up with examples from life. All candidates go through on-the-job training and get methodical support, so at the start, we mostly care about your medical knowledge, language proficiency, and motivation to become a good educator. Being a Russian citizen or speaking Russian fluently is NOT necessary for this job.
Duties- Teaching medical English using A2/B1 level curriculums of the English for Dentistry course to groups of 6-8 students with a minimum workload of two 120-minute afternoon classes a week
- Conducting ínterviews with potential students in order to assess their level and recommend a suitable study program (on average 10-15 minutes once a week)
- Tutoring medical professionals one-to-one, working both with set curriculums or coaching them for conferences/job interviews/exams.
- Using original school textbooks and curriculums along with English medical textbooks
- Teaching online in addition to offline classes
Requirements- A degree in dentistry (we will consider final-year undergraduate students)
- C1+ level of English - if you have any certificates, General English or teacher training, please include that information. We welcome candidates with TESOL, TKT, CAE/CPE, CELTA certificates
- Experience and confidence in doctor-patient communication, including taking a history, filling in medical documents and presenting patients
- Creativity and open-mindedness needed to involve the shiest of students in the education process
- English teaching experience, as well as clinical experience in an English-speaking environment, will be an advantage

- Methodical support (on-the-job training 2 weeks before you start working; lesson reviews and methodical support from the Director of education the entire time of your employment)
- Part-time work, offline classes start after 4.30 p.m. until 9.30 p.m.

- A young and motivated team of teachers, both doctors and linguists, and opportunities to grow as an educator. Communication inside the school is English-only, round tables with the Director of education and other teachers every 2-3 months
